The Manage Phase


(7.1) Process Management:
       The following tasks will be used to manage the process of conducting the learning
Ø Research on the topic (online & offline)
Ø Making clinometer
Ø Finding angle of elevation and depression
Ø Group Presentations
Ø Solving Textual problems
Ø Blog
(7.2) Student Preparation:
Specific instruction / tasks needed
1.     Recapitulation of the Chapter, Introduction to Trigonometry.
2.     Understanding of the different parameters and their application.
3.     Scheduling the activities and their execution.
4.     Familiarising about Blogging.

(7.3)  Facilitation:
The following resources will be used
·        Classroom for Discussions, Compilation and Exhibition of the artifacts.
·        LCD room and Mathematics lab for Presentations
·        NCERT Textbook for Primary Reference
·        Library and Computer Lab for Advanced References
·        School Camera for graphic collation.

(7.4) Progress Monitoring:
Allocation of 5-10 minutes on a daily basis for updating the status. A full period to be devoted every weekend for analyzing and revising the mode of execution. Group Leaders to coordinate the activities and constantly update the Mentor regarding its progress on regular basis.   
(7.5) Re-planning:
Re-strategizing and reworking of initial plan of action will be carried upon finding the scheduled plan to be going off-track.  
(7.6) Conflict Management:
Passive participants will be assisted and motivated through constant encouragement. Conflicts among group members will be resolved as and when needed.
