Project Plan – Lesson 5

The Do Phase

(5.1) Project Launch:
Describe how the project will be launched, including how goals, expectation, rules, procedures, assessment, and grading will be presented to the students.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  •    INTRODUCTION OF THE PROJECT
  •     PLANNING
  •    EXECUTION
  •    METHODOLOGY
  •      GROUPING:      ESTABLISH THE GROUP AND MANAGE THE GROUP
  •    PRESENTATION
HOW GOALS

Students will develop a meaning for Integers by understanding real world example of negative and positive Integers. Students will be able to compare Integer quantities by using negative integers and positive integers in computation.

EXPECTATION
Locate negative numbers on the number line. Know the numbers and their negatives ,locate it  on the opposite sides at equal distance from 0 on a numberline.Know about the operation and ordering of Integers from Least to Greatest.
RULES AND PROCEDURES

Addition of a Positive Integer and a Negative Integer
       Consider the addition of 3 + (–7).

The plus sign, +, tells us to face the positive direction.
So, to evaluate 3 + (–7), start at 3, face the positive direction and move 7 units backwards.

btracting a Negative Integer from a Positive Integer

Consider the subtraction of 2 – (–3).

The minus sign, –, tells us to face the negative direction.
So, to evaluate 2 – (–3),
start at 2, face the negative direction and move 3 units backwards.
2+3=5
 ASSESSMENT AND GRADING

Assess the students understood the lesson for that day. Test the creativity of students through lab activities. Assessment will also appear as some short Quizzes. The textbook with PPt and videos that gave the opportunities for practising questions. Also give word problems to connect them with real world .Students really struggle in the area of Integer subtraction. I can spend extra time for practising such questions. Students required a certain amount of reading when it comes to problem solving assessment. The problem sometimes require translating Maths problem from words to Numbers. The learning style emphasized by assessment which includes Logical and visual learning. Encourage the students work in group. Use appropriate clue words to stress the concepts in the mind of the learner while doing problems.

      (5.2) Artifacts

List artifacts that will be created during the project

  • VISUAL STUDIO
  1.            Chapter converted into video form,
  2.               poem on Integers projected through Text to Wav,
  3.              PPT on Integers.
  4.              Team members created the work that are based on the topic.
  5.              They can analyse their work by using TLM
  6.                Report  on Integers,
  7.             Construction work and working model.
  8.             Assess themselves through Online test
⟹(5.3) Culminating product:

Describe what culminating product or products are expected to be created during the project and how they will be presented.

  • Positive approach to learn negative numbers
  • Awareness about the every day use of negative numbers
  • sports➠ Goal differences in football, base ball and hockey
  • Science➨Latitude  , Electrical circuit. Temperature
  • Finance➨ Bank  account: Refunds to a credit card or debit
  • card are negative debit. profit and loss in the share market.
  • Other Areas➨Storeys below the ground floor, negative point score in video games etc.
  • Calories when eaten, it represents positive numbers
  •  Calories when burned, it represents negative numbers
  • Integers used to denote directions, height, width and other weather readings
  • Speed of the vehicle represents negative and positive values.
  • Negative numbers are used to represent the following English words
  • BELOW,UNDER,DOWN,SOUTH,LEFT,DEBIT,AGO
  • Last, but not least once you replace negative thought with positive ones, you will start having positive results.

                         (5.4) Celebrating completion:

Describe how the students will celebrate when the project is completed.

RELEASED OUR MAGAZINE AND CD BY RESPECTED PRINCIPAL MADAM
