Lesson 6: The Review Phase

(6.1)Student Reflection and Evaluation:
Describe how student reflection and evaluation will be conducted.
Self-assessment and assessment by the teacher ( Questions like What was the expected outcome and how far the student could achieve it; how effectively  was the project planning and execution according to the student; how did the whole team contribute to the project; what else could the student have done if more time was provided; the traits/ skills the student could develop because of the project, etc)

(6.2) Teacher Reflection and Evaluation:
Describe how teacher reflection and evaluation will be conducted.
Self-assessment and assessment by colleagues of the science dept. ( The gap if any between the expected outcome and the actual outcome of the project, the traits/ skills the students could develop because of the project ; effectiveness in planning and guiding the project; what would the teacher do differently if there was more time or if the project could be done again)


(6.3) Assessment of 21st Century skills:
List of 21st century skills in this project and its assessment
Critical thinking- to be assessed by the way the teams interpret the data collected by research
Collaboration- team spirit and team work in conducting the research and survey
Communication- Peer talk, presentation of their project report- both written and oral presentation


(6.4) Summative Assessment and Grading:
List products and the corresponding rubrics that will be used for SA and Grading

For each product, the following criteria would be used for evaluation :
Content  accuracy
Content richness
Relevance of the content
